Google dropped out of the top 20 of an annual survey ranking of companies most trusted on privacy by consumers.
Some of the companines in the top 20 were:
American Express
eBay Inc.
Apple Inc.
Yahoo Inc.
Facebook Inc.
IBM Corp.
Hewlett-Packard Co.
Intuit Corp.

I doubt this will affect them in anyway. Like it or not, people will keep searching with them since they have the most relevant results.
