Samsung finally launches its much awaited mobile phone called innov8 or i8510. It will hit European markets by August 2008, while it will make its way to other markets during September.

Based on Symbian OS v9.3 the smartphone is the first 8 megapixel camera phone which is certain to strengthen Samsung’s notable dominance in the GSM market. The phone features highest level of power efficiency, platform security and phone performance.

The innov8 includes an 8 megapixel camera wrapped with vogue imaging applications like face recognition, blink shot and smile shot. It also lets you exhibit favorite images disguising as a digital photo frame. You can garner those cherished memories in style with the Story Board and Moviemaker applications that let you edit and personalize photos, music and video. The 2.8” 16M color LCD is ideal in giving a great video, gaming and photography experience. With sufficient memory of 8 G or 16 GB Flash memory and an external memory slot up to 16G powered by a 1200mAh battery, Samsung innov8 lets you savor the regaling multimedia. The phone backs up DivX, WMV, Real Player and MPEG4 video formats.

That’s not it. The phone comes loaded with two famous mobile games Asphalt and FIFA 08.
