Yes.. You heard that right. We just got a new pagerank PR2 for our blog. There’s no change in PR for the forums. The forum still stands strong with PR2. Anyways I’m happy that the blog got a PR.
I haven’t promoted the blog a lot but whatever little promotional techniques I used, it has got me traffic that is increasing every month and now the blog has been rewarded with a PR2.
There were a few issues with the blog control panel but i got them fixed and its working fine now. We also moved to a new host and now that we got thing under control i’ll be updating the blog regularly.

Congrats. It seems like it’s harder to get good PR with google than it was just a year ago. Google loves blogs though, keep working away.

Lots of people are dropping and increasing PR. I think some tweaking too have been done on google side about PR. Hehe. But increase is always better right? Congrats. =)

Something which confused me. Why it is hard for forums to have better PR? My site has 2, blog has 2 but there are nu lucks with forums. forum has content and has some traffic as well but PR is N/A.

Within 6 months of starting my forum i got a PR2 for it and in the recent update many of my inner pages got a PR0, PR1 & PR2. So hopefully I’m expecting an increase in the next update.

I’m happy to hear that your blogs already got update on your PR. Not many would get an increase on their PR. Follow the big G rules and everything will be fine.
