Honda adds crime avoidance feature to its GPS System
This is a new feature Honda decided to add to its GPS System: crime avoidance feature. With this feature drivers will get an alert through Honda’s on-board navigation system about areas where cars have been damaged, stolen or broken into in the past.
The new feature is expected to start this week. The new system relies on crime information provided by Japanese police departments.
There has been no indication by Honda whether this feature will be available in US.
